This week on Brian Ross Investigates, an exclusive interview with a young woman who says she was coerced into becoming a sex slave for the leader of a worldwide church that claims five million members in the United States and 50 other countries around the world.
In going public, Sochil Martin is the first of scores of young women who prosecutors say were victims of Naason Joaquin Garcia, the self-proclaimed Apostle of the Light of the World Church.
Garcia is awaiting trial in Los Angeles and has pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking charges. California prosecutors say Garcia used his position in the church “to satisfy a seemingly insatiable appetite for sex with young girls and boys.”
